Danny Kaye Sheets

Danny Kaye Sheets, age 63, of Buckhannon, WV, entered his eternal sleep on Thursday, December 13, 2018, at his home. He was born March 13, 1955, in Buckhannon, a son of the late Charles and Erma Robson Sheets. On August 24, 1988, he married Tina Spore who survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Heather Wilkins and husband Mike, Vanessa Perkins and husband Jeff, Whitney Lantz and husband Nathan all of Buckhannon and Parthena Alderman and husband Matthew of French Creek, WV; nine granddaughters, Nicole Wilkins, Aliannah, Kendyl, Kaydence, Lakeyn and Berkley Lantz and Adalyn Perkins all of Buckhannon,  Gracelyn Sheets and Ashlynn Sheets of French Creek; four grandsons, Nicholas Anderson, Gage Raschella, Hunter Wilkins and Gabriel Merriman all of Buckhannon; two brothers, James Sheets and wife Caroline of Jane Lew, WV and Ron Sheets and wife Susie of Buckhannon; sister-in-law, Dorothy Sheets of Buckhannon; special brother-in-law, Raymond Spore, Jr. of Buckhannon; best friends, Belinda Collins of PA and Philip Lantz of Buckhannon and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Danielle Sheets; one brother, Charles Sheets and best friend, Stephen Zickefoose. Friends will be received Monday, December 17, 2018, from 5 to 8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held 1 PM Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. J. Edward McDaniels officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Church Cemetery in Hodgesville, WV.
