Zana Lee Hinkle

Zana Lee Hinkle, age 78, of Buckhannon, WV died Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born March 3, 1940, in Rock Springs, WV, a daughter of the late Wade and Beatrice Fallen Moreland. On April 24, 1959, she married Eddie Hinkle who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Sherry Hess and husband Bill of Parkersburg, WV and Kimberly Linger and husband David of Buckhannon; two grandsons, Christopher Heavner of Parkersburg and Patrick Heavner and wife Saran of Vienna, WV; one great granddaughter, Alexia Heavner of Vienna; two sisters, Louise Dean and husband Bobby and Darlene Hinkle and husband Verlin all of Buckhannon; a special cousin, Taresa Haddix and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one infant great grandson, Riley Heavner and two brothers, Thomas Moreland and Raymond Fallen. Mrs. Hinkle attended the Mt. Washington United Methodist Church for over 40 years and was a member of the Tennerton United Methodist Church in Buckhannon. In earlier years, she worked at G.C. Murphy Company, later as a telephone operator for C&P Telephone Company and for many years as an Office Manager for Buffington Studio and Photograpy in Buckhannon. Mrs. Hinkle enjoyed working with her flowers, bowling and loved to cook her delicious meals for family and friends. She enjoyed going out to eat with her sisters and their families. Friends will be received Friday, November 16, 2018, from 4 to 8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held 1 PM Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Bob Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Lanham Cemetery in Queens, WV.
