Phil and the rest of the family;
I am so sorry for your loss. It totally shocked me to read of your mother's passing in the paper. I was just thinking in the last month or so, about how your mother was doing and how it had been such a long while since i had seen her.
Your mother, to me, was one of the most respected and most admired teachers that i had in high school. She was the one that pushed me and made me gain an understanding of things I long ignored and refused to learn. Her loss is a great loss to many, and i am sure you all as well.
