Obituary of Mabel Glenna Ramey

untitled3 Mabel Glenna Ramey Mabel Glenna Ramey, age 91, of Pickens, WV, died Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the Elkins Regional Convalescent Center in Elkins, WV. She was born February 22, 1922 in Upshur County, WV, a daughter of the late George and Olive Plum Beavers. On November 1, 1969 she married John J. Ramey who survives. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Dallas Beavers and three sisters, Guilse Wilfong, Rolena Wilkins and Mateel Booth. Mrs. Ramey was a waitress. She was a member of the Farm Women’s Club and the Rebekah’s. A graveside service will be held 2 PM Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at the Pickens Cemetery, with Rev. Dr. Joseph Shreve officiating.
