Obituary of Jean Carol Haymond

Jean Carol Haymond, age 91, of Buckhannon, WV, died Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Serenity Care Home in Buckhannon. She was born October 17, 1926, in Burnsville, WV, a daughter of the late Arley and Golda Whytsell McNemar. On November 12, 1947 she married William Haymond who preceded her in death on February 23, 2006. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters. She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Davis and husband Wayne and Bobbie Haymond all of Buckhannon; one granddaughter, Christie Blair and husband Philip of Martinsburg, WV; two grandsons, Josh Davis and Jessica Miller of Buckhannon and Jeremy Davis of Morgantown, WV; two great-granddaughters, Taylor Simmons of Martinsburg and Averie Davis of Buckhannon and one great-grandson, Cayden Blair of Martinsburg. Mrs. Haymond was a Clerical Assistant at the Pentagon and a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Buckhannon. In honoring her wishes Mrs. Haymond will be cremated. A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 12, 2018 at 2 PM at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Buckhannon with Pastor Rick Cutright officiating.
