 Al Hall, age 78, of Rock Cave, WV, died Sunday, July 15, 2018 at his home. He was born May 23, 1940 in Hardy County, WV, a son of the late Richard Edward Earl Hall and Evelyn Lipscomb Hall Lahman. On August 8, 1969 he married Dianna Hall who preceded him in death on May 19, 2014. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his step father, Ladd Lahman. He is survived by one daughter Cinthia Goodwin, VA; three step sons, William Primo and wife Gail of NC, Spencer Primo and wife Teresa of VT and Brian Primo of CO; two grandsons, Tyler Goodwin of WV and Nathan Goodwin of PA; special family, Rose Neely and husband Kenny of French Creek, WV and three half-brothers, Andy Lahman and Leroy Lahman and wife Janie all of Gaines, WV and Larry Lahman and wife Linda of Parsons, WV. Mr. Hall was an auto mechanic and a member of the Wilsontown United Methodist Church. He served in the U.S. Army with three tours in Vietnam. Mr. Hall was a member of the Frank B. Bartlett Post # 7 American Legion and Pringle Tree Chapter # 5 DAV. Friends will be received Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 10 AM until 11 AM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held 11 AM Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Heavner officiating. Burial will follow in the Beechtown Cemetery at Frenchton, WV. The Upshur County Honor Guard will conduct Military Honors at the gravesite. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
