Nettie Ann Mallett, age 80, of Cherry Fork, WV died Saturday, July 14, 2018 at her home in Cherry Fork surrounded by her family. She was born March 14, 1938, in Webster Co., WV, a daughter of the late Bernard Berry and Alma Margaret Simons Cogar. She was married to Junior Odas Mallett who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sons, Kenneth and Ernest Mallett and four sisters, Lillie Buchanan, Lovie Malcomb, Shirley Alderman and Minnie Gum. Surviving are two daughters, Alice Andrew and husband Ralph of Heaston Ridge, WV and Debra Pratt and husband Bobby of Roanoke, WV; special family members, George Allman and Phyllis Seville; three grandchildren, Dr. Amy Andrew and husband Dr. Chris Berndsen, Preston Andrew and wife Loni and Ashley Spaur; four very loved great-grandchildren, Derian Andrew, Kaylee Trickett, Ava Trickett and Olivia Berndsen; two brothers, Bernard Cogar and Teddy Cogar and two sisters, Ruby Lake and Mary Casto. Nettie was a glass cutter at Louie Glass for thirty years. She was much loved and will be greatly missed by family and friends. Friends will be received Monday, July 16, 2018 from 6 to 8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Tuesday at 10 AM at the funeral home with Pastor David Jessie officiating. Burial will follow in the Heaston Ridge Church Cemetery in Heaston Ridge, WV.
