Obituary of Betty June Jenkins

Betty June Jenkins, age 90, of Buckhannon, WV, died Monday, July 2, 2018, at Eagle Pointe Nursing Home in Parkersburg, WV. She was born February 19, 1928, in Clarksburg, WV, a daughter of the late Eddie E. and Edna Jolliffe Griffin. On May 11, 1947, she married Richard “Dick” Clyde Jenkins who preceded her in death on November 14, 1994. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Rick Jenkins. She is survived by two sons, Scott Jenkins and wife Elaine of Washington and Randall Lynn Jenkins and wife Tina of Marietta, OH; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Monta Kutchen of Salisbury, MD and one sister, Jeannine McClain and husband Bud of Bridgeport, WV. Mrs. Jenkins was a homemaker and a member of the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. Friends will be received Friday, July 6, 2018, from 6 to 8 PM at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Saturday at the church with the Rev. Helen R. Oates officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon, WV.
