Obituary of Alta Louise Hull

Alta Louise Hull, age 82, of Rock Cave, WV, died Friday, June 29, 2018 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born March 19, 1936 in Upshur County, WV, a daughter of the late Virgil and Brenice Helmick Davidson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Eugene Hull, whom she married on June 21, 1954; one grandson, Curtis Hull; two sisters, Leona Pugh and Helen Samples and one brother, Edward Davidson. She is survived by two sons, Steve Hull of Rock Cave and Ronnie Hull and wife Debi of French Creek, WV; one granddaughter, Heather Paugh and husband Ricky of Jane Lew, WV; one great-grandson, McKennon Paugh of Jane Lew; one great-granddaughter, Rachel Paugh of Jane Lew; two sisters, Betty Pitcock of Buckhannon, WV and Opal Cunningham of Bridgeport, WV and two brothers, James Davidson and wife Patricia of Salem, WV and Gerald Davidson of Thornton, CO. Mrs. Hull was a homemaker. She was a member of the Banks District Fire Department Ladies Aux. and a former member of the Secret Sisters of Kanawha Head. Friends will be received Tuesday, July 3, 2018 from 5-7 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Wednesday at the funeral home with the Pastor David Jessie and the Rev. Terry Tolliver officiating. Burial will follow in the Rock Cave Cemetery in Rock Cave.
