Obituary of Wylie Frederick Morgan, Jr.

Wylie Frederick Morgan, Jr., age 37, of Buckhannon, WV, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018 after a nine year battle with heart problems. He was born December 28, 1980 in Dayton, OH, a son of Wylie Frederick Morgan Sr. of Nashport, OH and Laura Lackey of Buckhannon. In addition to his parents he is survived by two sisters, Arnetta Palmer of Nashville, TN and Sarah Layman and husband Harley of Buckhannon; three nephews, James Cranmer of Zanesville, OH, Alex Layman of Buckhannon and Solomon Palmer of Nashville, TN; three nieces, Mary and Grace Cranmer and Abagail Layman all of Buckhannon; step-mother, Shari Morgan of Nashport and step-brother, Brian Hunter of Cincinnati, OH. Mr. Morgan worked in the oil & gas industry and loved to hunt, fish and go Jeeping. Although he had an enlarged heart that caused him physical troubles throughout his life, that same large heart showed unwavering love, care, understanding and kindness to all that crossed his path. Friends will be received Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 2 PM to 5 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Monday at 11 AM at the funeral home with the Rev. J. Edward McDaniels officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
