Obituary of Jeffery Lawrence Marfield

Jeffery Lawrence Marfield, age 59, of Buckhannon, WV died Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. He was born December 31, 1958 in Baltimore, MD, a son of the late George Albert and Gladys Mae Phares Marfield. On June 1, 1993 he married Sandra Sue Samples who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Jeffery Tyler and Brandon Curtis Marfield both of Buckhannon and Jason Scott Marfield of Weston, WV; one daughter, Rachel Hope Marfield of AL; one granddaughter, Amaya Rodriguez of Abington, VA; one grandson, Jeremiah Marfield of AL; three brothers, George Marfield and wife LaDonna of Belington, WV, Mike Marfield and wife Cheryl of Elkins, WV and Mark Marfield of Bowden, WV and two sisters, Beth Myer and husband Todd of Pasadena, MD and Christina Smith and husband Dave of Elkins, WV. Mr. Marfield was a Machine Operator for Mylan and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Friends will be received Monday, May 21, 2018 from 11 AM until 1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home with the funeral service beginning at 1 PM with Bishop  Ron Hinkle officiating. In honoring Mr. Marfield’s wishes he will be cremated. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
