Obituary of Ray J. Cutright

Ray J. Cutright, age 81, of Buckhannon, WV, died Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center in Clarksburg, WV. He was born March 19, 1937 in Wendel, WV, a son of the late Ray and Pauline Patty Trembley Cutright. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Tonya Reneé Radcliff and Diana Jean Cutright; one grandson, Christopher Radcliff and one sister, Evelyn Dowell. He is survived by two daughters, Debra Simons and husband Roy and Brenda Allen and husband Jim all of Buckhannon; two sons, Danny Cutright and wife Jill and Rick Cutright and fiancé Deb all of Buckhannon; several grandchildren; several great and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and beloved dog, faithful companion, Baby. Mr. Cutright was a Proud U.S. Army Veteran who served in Germany. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and boggie-wogging. In his lifetime he was a farmer, truck driver and equipment operator, and he owned his own saw mill and ran his own timber company. Friends will be received Sunday, March 25, 2018 from 12 Noon until 2 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held 2 PM Sunday at the funeral home with Pastor Heather Liggett officiating. Burial will follow in the Bailey Cemetery in Buckhannon.
