Joyful Peace Sneed

Joyful Peace Sneed, age 49, of Buckhannon, WV died Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Nella’s Nursing Home in Elkins, WV. She was born June 22, 1968 in Prince George’s County, MD, a daughter of Alice Marie James Sneed of Maryland and the late Paul Franklin Sneed. In addition to her mother she is survived by one sister, Joanna Reed and Clayton of Quakertown, PA; two brothers, Timothy Sneed and Mila of the Philippines and David Sneed and Jasmine of Frederick, MD; numerous cousins and conservators, Sheriffs; Fred Gaudet, Larry Marsh, Virgil Miller, Sherman Baxa and David Coffman. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, Clark Sneed.  Joyful Peace attended special education classes in both Maryland and Buckhannon, WV. The family wishes to thank the Upshur County Sheriff’s Office for their many years of kindness and care towards Joyful Peace. Friends will be received at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home Wednesday, March 7, 2018 from 11 AM to 12 noon, the funeral hour with the Rev. J. Edward McDaniels officiating. Burial will follow in the French Creek Memorial Gardens in French Creek, WV. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Christ-Centered Ministry of your choice.
