Kathleen Ema Rice, age 86, of Buckhannon, WV died Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Holbrook’s on the Hill in Buckhannon. She was born February 5, 1931 in Selbyville, WV, a daughter of the late Creed and Seda Haymond. On April 11, 1957 she married Charles Ralph Rice who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Rodney Rice and wife Linda of Navarre, OH and Brad Rice and wife Jean of Massillon, OH; one grandson, Scott Grimm of Canton, OH; one great granddaughter, Chloe Grimm of Massillon and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sons, Doug, Steve and Joe Grimm. Mrs. Rice was a member of the Way of Holiness Church and a homemaker. Friends will be received Friday, September 8, 2017 from 11 AM to 1PM, the funeral hour, with Pastor Jerry Murrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Rock Cave Cemetery in Rock Cave, WV.
