Obituary of Beatrice Carol Parks

Beatrice Carol Parks, age 75, of Weston, WV died Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Hospice Care Corporation in Morgantown, WV. She was born October 3, 1942 a daughter of the late Arden and Gazil Pearl Jeffries Strader. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant son, Jeffrey Parks; a granddaughter, Angel Grace Davis; a great-grandson, Damian Alloway; a sister, Eva Myers, and a brother, Charles Strader. Surviving are six daughters, Deborah Metheny of Buckhannon, WV, Teresa Westfall and husband Mark of Buckhannon, Donna Wyman and husband Rod of Weston, Cynthia Cunningham of FL, Kristi Davis and husband Robert of FL, and Karri Parks of Weston; eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren with one on the way; a special companion, John Wilder of Buckhannon; and four sisters, Linda Long of Buckhannon, Lillian Pringle, Mary Bennett, and Kandace Cooper all of Ohio. Ms. Parks was a caregiver and a Baptist by faith. Friends will be received at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 1 to 2 PM, the funeral hour. Burial will follow in the Beechtown Cemetery in Frenchton, WV. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
