Obituary of Willie Junior DeBarr

e Willie Junior DeBarr, age 56, of Buckhannon, WV died Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at his home. He was born September 3, 1961 in Upshur County, WV, a son of Donald and Mary Smith DeBarr who survive. On August 28, 1987, he married Natalia Stanton who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Willie Jr. and Donald Edwin DeBarr both of Buckhannon; one daughter, Ashley Nicole DeBarr of Buckhannon; two grandsons, Cason Michael DeBarr of Buckhannon and Maddix Jay Williams DeBarr of Junior, WV; one granddaughter, Jozie Marie DeBarr of Junior; two brothers, Roger DeBarr and wife Carla of Buckhannon and Randy DeBarr of Fairmont, WV and two sisters, Debbie Hollen and husband Glenn and Shirley Tenney and husband Rick all of Buckhannon. He was preceded in death by one sister Barbara Koon. Mr. DeBarr was a Rig Manager for Hall Drilling. He served in the U.S. Army from 1980 – 1983 and then served in the National Guard from 1983 – 1987. Friends will be received Friday, October 20, 2017 from 5 to 8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 AM at the funeral home with the Rev. Dan Mahaffey officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Vincent’s Catholic Cemetery in Kingsville, WV. The Upshur County Honor Guard will conduct Military Honors at the gravesite.
