Virginia Reed, age 101, of Tallmansville, WV, died Thursday, October 26, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon, WV. She was born August 7, 1916 in Upshur County, WV. She was married to Stanley Reed who preceded her in death on January 18, 1996. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, David Reed. She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Robinson and husband John of Tallmansville; one granddaughter, Kristen Shaffer and husband Jim of Martinsburg, WV; one grandson, Kurt Kreuz of Baltimore, MD and her great grandchildren, Cory, Tyler and Allison Fournier and Megan and Adam Kreuz. Mrs. Reed was a Teacher. Friends will be received Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 1-2 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held 2:30 PM on Saturday at the Reed Cemetery in Tallmansville with the Rev. J. Edward McDaniels officiating.
