Obituary of Pamela Suzette Rowan

Pamela Suzette Rowan, age 68, of Buckhannon, WV died Friday, December 1, 2017, at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. She was born August 20, 1949, in Braxton County, WV, a daughter of the late Laco and Gladys June Young Hyer. On October 7, 1969, she married Robert Rowan who survives. In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons, Russell John Rowan of Buckhannon and Robert J. Rowan, II and girlfriend Jodi Harley and her son Kalen Harley all of Tennerton; three grandsons, Russell John Rowan, II of French Creek, WV, Ryan Jacob Rowan of Buckhannon and Kody Bailes of Webster County, WV; two granddaughters, Cassandra Suzette Rowan of Buckhannon and Meredith Marie Rowan of French Creek; one great-granddaughter, Paisley Poling of Buckhannon; two brothers, Mike Hyer of TX and Ross Hyer of AL; one sister, Cheryl Bryant of CO and one aunt, Sheila Cogar and husband Mark of Buckhannon. Mrs. Rowan was a cook at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Friends will be received Monday, December 4, 2017 from 12 Noon until 1 PM at the Salem Ridge United Methodist Church in Gaines, WV. The funeral service will follow at 1 PM at the church with Pastor Ed Lowther officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Ridge Church Cemetery in Gaines.
