Obituary of Helen Jean Wolford

Helen Jean Wolford, age 52, of Buckhannon, WV died Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at her home. She was born March 31, 1965 in Buckhannon, a daughter of Carl William Reed of Buckhannon and the late Annabell Roby Rucker. Also surviving is one daughter, Lori Parsons of Mabie, WV; five grandsons; four granddaughters; two sisters, Betty Wolford and husband Carroll of Buckhannon and Elizabeth Benedict and husband Bob of Madina, OH; three brothers, David Reed and wife Shirley of Mansfield, OH, Billy Reed and wife Sherry of Homeville, OH and Jimmie Reed and wife Darlene of Glenville, WV and step father, Wilbur Rucker of Buckhannon. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Carla Reed. Mrs. Wolford was a homemaker. Friends will be received Monday, December 11, 2017 from 11 AM until 1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 PM on Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. J. Edward McDaniels officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses. In honoring Mrs. Wolford's wishes, she will be cremated.
