Obituary of Ralph Earl Zickefoose

Ralph “Jum” Earl Zickefoose Ralph “Jum” Earl Zickefoose, age 64, of Buckhannon, WV died Sunday, April 10, 2016 at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. He was born August 16, 1951 in Buckhannon, a son of the late Elbert and Ressie Westfall Zickefoose. On April 25, 1975 he married Emma Herron who survives. In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Ralph Zickefoose, Jr. and wife Sheila and Bobby Zickefoose all of Buckhannon; four daughters, Neva Bennett and husband Robert of Junior, WV, Nicole Duke and husband William of French Creek, WV, Pamela Zickefoose and fiancé Lucas Jenkins and Tracy Zickefoose and fiancé Chris Davis all of Buckhannon; four grandsons, Brian Dale Hoover, Jr. of Junior, Brett Stevens Hoover of Tallmansville, WV, Jonathan Duke and wife Loren and Trever Davis all of Buckhannon; six granddaughters, Shyla Duke of French Creek, Sahsha, Kayleigh and Hayden Zickefoose, Madison Jenkins and Ariah Davis all of Buckhannon; one great-grandson, Dalton Duke of Buckhannon and one great-grandson on the way; two brothers, Charlie Wagner and wife Hilda of Cutright Chapel, WV and Richard Zickefoose of Buckhannon; two sisters, Armeta Auskings and husband Wayne of Buckhannon and Neva Tenney and husband Forrest of Mineral Ridge, OH and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Zickefoose was a Maintenance Laborer for the Housing Authority of the City of Buckhannon and was a Christian by faith. Friends will be received Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 10 AM Friday at the funeral home with the Revs. Wease L. Day and Tim Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Cutright Chapel Cemetery in Queens, WV. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
