Obituary of Peggy Jean Shreve

Peggy Jean Shreve Peggy Jean Shreve, age 75, of Buckhannon, WV died Saturday, April 16, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. She was born July 28, 1940 in Keiser, AR, a daughter of the late Loche Moten and Emmer Loretta Self Brock. On March 23, 1962 she married Leslie Leonard Shreve who survives. Also surviving are one son, Leslie Leonard Shreve, II of Clarksburg, WV; one grandson, Grayson Lee Shreve of Buckhannon; one niece, Ardith Allen of Cahokia, IL and one great niece, Devin Allen of Columbia, IL. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Loren Lee Shreve; one sister, Lounell Jones and one brother, Russell Brock. Mrs. Shreve was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ since 1949. She was also a member of the Frank B. Bartlett Unit #7 American Legion Aux. Friends will be received Tuesday, April 19, 2016 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 2 PM Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Vicki Sheppard officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Union Church Cemetery. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
