Obituary of French Zenus McQuain

French Zenus McQuain French Zenus McQuain, age 85, of French Creek, WV died Friday, April 22, 2016 at Davis Memorial Hospital in Elkins, WV. He was born July 29, 1930 in French Creek, a son of the late Tom and Ora Reynolds McQuain. On May 30, 1955 he married Betty Lee Hinchman McQuain who preceded him in death on January 23, 2011. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by one grandson, Ian McQuain; one sister, Sarah McMasters and one brother, James McQuain. He is survived by one son, Thomas F. McQuain and companion Wanda M. of Fort Wayne, IN; two daughters, Patricia Roembke and husband Bill and Penny Covey and husband Ron all of Fort Wayne; two grandsons, William Roembke and Rodney McQuain both of Fort Wayne; four granddaughters, Kristina Bradtmueller and husband Mark of Pensacola, FL, Karla Roembke, Kathy Roembke and fiancé Tim and Leah McQuain all of Fort Wayne; two great-grandsons, Levi and Garret Roembke both of Pensacola; one great-granddaughter, Regan Roembke of Pensacola; one sister, Mary Lucille Slatton of Boaz, AL; one special nephew, Robert McMasters of French Creek and several nieces and nephews. Mr. McQuain was in the US Army. He worked as an Equipment Repairman for Dana Corp. Friends will be received Friday, April 29, 2016 from 6-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Saturday at the funeral home with Pastors David Jessie and Holly J. Hoover officiating. Burial will follow in the Point Pleasant Cemetery in Abbott, WV.
