Obituary of Orville Harold Dever

Orville Harold Dever Orville Harold Dever, age 80, of Buckhannon, WV died Thursday, April 28, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. He was born November 21, 1935 in Webster County, WV, a son of the late Gilbert Boyce and Mabel Blanche Wilson Dever. He is survived by his wife, Marlene Sargent Dever; three daughters, Amy Westfall and husband Jackie of Buckhannon, Sandra Clark and husband Calvin Bobby of Thomaston, GA and Angela Waterholter of Elmira, NY; three sons, Mark Sargent and wife Mona of Wardensville, WV, Ronald Harold Dever and wife Katherine and Jason Dever all of Buckhannon; fourteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three brothers, Carl Dever and wife Dean and John Dever and wife Gainer all of NC and Dana Dever and wife Gale of VA and two sisters, Elsie Berline and husband Roland of PA and Sue Bergfeld of French Creek, WV. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Ernest Dever and two sisters, Lorraine Gregory and Jean Keelin. Mr. Dever was a Lumberman for Coastal Lumber. Friends will be received Monday, May 2, 2016 from 11 AM until 1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home.
