Obituary of Daisy May Ware

Daisy May West Ware Daisy May West Ware 99 passed softly in her sleep to her eternal resting place, Saturday April 30, 2016 in Buckhannon WV at her home. She was born December 14, 1916 to Eva Forest Reynolds and John Presley West. She was the last surviving relative of all her 14 siblings. preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Parl D Ware on August 4, 1989. She is survived by her four children: Violet Eva Wines, of Buckhannon, Guy William Ware and wife Barbara Ware, of Buckhannon, Betty Lou Curtis, of Buckhannon, Maynard Sue Siron and husband Robert Siron, of Myrtle Beach, SC. 12 grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren, 11 Great-Great Grandchildren. 2 sons-in-law preceded her in death: Erwin Edward Wines who passed in March 28, 2010 & Jackie Lee Curtis who passed in May 9, 2014. Daisy was devoted to God and her family. When she was 28 she was close to death. Not wanting to leave her little children she prayed asking God to save her life and let her raise her kids and she would serve him the rest of her life. Well, God answered giving her an extra 71 years and she stayed true to her promise and carried her kids with her to the very next church service. Daisy prayed for each member of the family every day. She was selfless always ministering and thinking of others above herself. With a razor sharp wit to the very end. She always ensured that who ever came to her house never left hungry. We already miss her and her prayers greatly. Friends will be received Wednesday, May 4, 2016 from 11 AM until 2 PM at the Living Word Church of God. A funeral service will be held 2 PM at the church with Pastor Frank Spears officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Lebanon Church Cemetery in Buckhannon.
