Obituary of Roberta Lynn Thomason

Roberta “Bobbi” Lynn Thomason Roberta “Bobbi” Lynn Thomason, age 46, of Tallmansville, WV died Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at her home. She was born November 22, 1969 in Buckhannon, WV, a daughter of Arabelle Chewning Thomason of Tallmansville and the late Gilbert Thomason. In addition to her mother, she is survived by one brother, Gary Thomason and Becky Eskew of Belington, WV; three sisters, Anita Wright and husband John and Twiggy Garrison and husband Joey all of Queens, WV and Susie Perkins and husband Virgil of Buckhannon; three nephews, Edward Perkins and wife Katie and Michael Tapscott and wife Legend all of Buckhannon and Edward Thomason of Bealeton, VA; four nieces, Jenny Watson and husband Eddie of Weston, WV, Delania Miles and husband Jason of Atlanta, GA, Jessica Wright of Birmingham, AL and Brandi Tomey and husband Arnold of Buckhannon; four great-nephews, Trey Watson of Weston, Levi and Gunner Tomey both of Buckhannon and Jonah Miles of Atlanta and four great-nieces, Bailey Watson of Weston, Allison Miles of Atlanta, Kylee Thomason of Bealeton and Indie Garrison of Queens. Also in addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, Gilbert Eugene “Snoop” Thomason. Bobbi was a helper at the Buckhannon Work Adjustment Center and a member of the Tallmansville Baptist Church. Friends will be received Friday, May 6, 2016 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Saturday at the funeral home with the Revs. Ralph Miller, Tim Lewis and Wease Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Lanham Cemetery in Queens, WV.
