Obituary of Steven Craig Underwood

Steven Craig “Festus” Underwood Steven Craig “Festus” Underwood, age 61, of French Creek, WV died Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at the Hospice Care Corporation in Morgantown, WV. He was born November 14, 1954 in Buckhannon, WV, a son of Leona Hissam Underwood of French Creek and the late Arnold Underwood. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his girl-friend, Amy Wilson of Rock Cave, WV; two sons, Blane Underwood and wife Donna and Lee Underwood and wife Lilly all of Martinsburg, WV; one grandson, Howard Underwood of Martinsburg; two granddaughters, Ivy and Zenia Underwood both of Martinsburg; one brother, Arnold Underwood and wife Margaret of Buckhannon; several aunts and uncles and one niece and two nephews. Steven was a well driller for Side Winders and a Methodist by faith. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and loved being outdoors. Friends will be received Tuesday, May 17, 2016 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor David Jessie officiating. Burial will follow in the Buckhannon Memorial Park.
