Karla Kay Hinkle, 64 years old, of Barbour St. Buckhannon, WV, was born on August 25, 1951 and passed away peacefully at her home. She was preceded in death by her brother Patrick Hinkle. She is survived by her parents, Dorla Simons Hinkle and Zaner Hinkle of Camp Hill, PA, brother Brad Hinkle , niece Erika Hinkle and nephew Reese Hinkle of Washington D.C., and sister Elizabeth (Liz) Hinkle and her partner Sandy Scacchitti of Harrisburg, PA and her beloved dog Smedley. Karla was an avid animal lover, enjoyed watching reality television, and listening to classic rock music. She was a loving caregiver for her maternal grandparents Ina Dove Tallman Simons and Clarence Simons until they passed. Friends will be received at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home on Saturday, June 25, 2016 from 11 AM until 12:30 PM the funeral hour with Pastor Michael Tallman officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Union Church Cemetery. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
