Mr. Marvin Rinehart Mr. Marvin Rinehart, age, 80, departed this life Sunday, July 3, 2016, at his home, Route 1 (Maple Lane) Elkins, WV. He was born January 15, 1936 in Lewis County, WV, a son of the late Gladstone and Hazel Rinehart. On May 12, 1967, he married his beloved wife, Luretta (Reger) Rinehart, who survives. Also surviving are his two devoted daughters, Leigh Ann Rinehart of Morgantown, WV and Dr. Sarah Rinehart of Atlanta, GA. In addition, surviving are one sister, Mrs. Twyla Barlow of Buckhannon, WV; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Sharon Gump of Barrackville, WV and Mrs. Martha Bonner and husband Dan of Cranberry Township, PA, and three brothers-in-law, Mr. Eddie Reger of Buckhannon, Mr. Milford Reger of Adrian, WV, and Mr. Dave Reger and wife Beverly of Buckhannon, along with several nieces and nephews. Marvin was employed by Burrough's/Unisys Corporation for 36 years where he served as a field engineer for the local banks. He was very active in the First Baptist Church of Elkins, serving on the Board of Trustees and building committees. Gardening, grafting fruit trees, woodworking, being a gunsmith and locksmith were among his passions in life, but most of all spending time with his family and friends. Friends will be received Thursday, July 7, 2016 from 4 to 8 PM at the First Baptist Church of Elkins. The funeral service will be held 2 PM Friday, July 8, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Elkins with the Rev. Joseph Wolfe presiding. Interment will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made for WV Flood Victims c/o First Baptist Church, 412 Randolph Avenue Elkins, WV 26241.
