William Leonard Goldsborough William Leonard Goldsborough, age 79, of Buckhannon, WV died Monday, July 11, 2016 at his home. He was born August 31, 1936 in Kingwood, WV, a son of the late Glenn and Margaret Bragg Goldsborough. On September 27, 1975 he married Sandra Kay Simmons who preceded him in death on November 25, 2008. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by one son, Kevin Goldsborough. He is survived by daughter, Michelle Hinchman and fiancé Edward Clevenger of Buckhannon; granddaughter, Ashley Hinchman of Buckhannon; grandson, Jonathan Hinchman of Buckhannon; grandchildren, Bryson, Bethany and Isaiah Clevenger all of Buckhannon; daughter, Charlotte Woodson and husband Walter of Bridgeport, WV; grandson, Walter Woodson II of Bridgeport; granddaughter, Tiffany Woodson of Bridgeport; two grandsons, Jacob and Ethan Goldsborough both of Buckhannon; three brothers, Glenn Goldsborough, Jr., of Morgantown, WV, David and Kenneth Goldsborough both of Reedsville, WV; two sisters, Eloise Goldsborough-Rager of Buckhannon and Linda Stemple of Preston County, WV; several nieces and nephews and many caring friends. Mr. Goldsborough worked for Upshur Coal before becoming a mechanic for Bill Kelley, Inc., where he worked for over 30 years until his retirement. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Buckhannon Country Club. Friends will be received Thursday, July 14, 2016 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Donald Butcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to WV Hospice 6 Hartman Plaza Buckhannon, WV 26201. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
