Obituary of Terrence Wayne Knicely

Terrence “Terry” “Billy Bob” Knicely, age 51, of Buckhannon, WV went home to be with the Lord July 28, 2016 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. He was born February 18, 1965 in Buckhannon, a son of James Knicely and wife Connie and the late Dorothy Peters Knicely. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Roy and Martha Knicely and his maternal grandparents, Edward and Edith Peters. Terry is survived by one daughter, Kelly Knicely of Buckhannon; two sons, Jason and Justin Knicely both of Buckhannon; two brothers, Larry Knicely of Fort Wayne, IN and Ricky Knicely and wife Stephanie of Jane Lew, WV; one sister Vicky Kelley and husband Tim of Buckhannon; two step sisters, Sara Riffle of Martinsburg, WV and Shelby Alderman and husband Doug of Beckley, WV and several aunts, uncles, cousin, nieces and nephews. Terry enjoyed working at Trus Joist, listening to Bluegrass Gospel, hunting and feeding his family four-footed critters. Friends will be received Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dennis Estes and Pastor Jerry Murrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Terry’s Honor to Pet Door Rescue www.facebook.com/petdoorrescue. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
