Wayne A. Nutter Wayne A. Nutter, age 65, of Buckhannon, WV died Monday, August 1, 2016 at his home. He was born September 19, 1950 in Buckhannon, a son of Lora Radcliff Simons and husband Ronald Joe of Volga, WV and the late Junior Allen Nutter. He is also survived by his nephew, with whom he resided, Johnny R. Howard and wife Heidi of Buckhannon; two sisters, Elma Queen and husband Vaden and Ellen Beckner and husband Dave all of Buckhannon; one brother, Billy Nutter and wife Melody of Johnstown, WV; girl-friend, Brenda Wells of Quiet Dell, WV; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; two great-great-nieces, Abigail and Kacie Neal both of Buckhannon. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by an infant son, James Allen Nutter; one sister, Betty Nutter and one half sister, Thelma Hurst. Mr. Nutter was a truck driver and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Wayne served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Way of Holiness Church of Buckhannon. Friends will be received Thursday, August 4, 2016 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Jerry Murrell and Pastor Frank Howard officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Church Cemetery at Hodgesville, WV. Upshur County Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the graveside.
