Doyle Lantz, Jr., age 54, of Buckhannon, WV died Friday, August 5, 2016 due to a motorcycle accident. He was born January 11, 1962 in Buckhannon, a son of Doyle Vincent and Weva Landis Lantz of Buckhannon. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son, Dallas Lantz and wife Kristina of Buckhannon; one step daughter, Crystal Anderson of Luray, VA; four grandsons, Landyn Mohr, Joseph Wayne Lantz and Rayden Colt Lantz all of Buckhannon and James E. Anderson of Fredericksburg, VA; two sisters, Debra Dufeck and husband Dan of Ashland, WI and Karen L. Smith and partner Kevin McClure of Buckhannon; two brothers, Michael Lantz of Gore, WV and Robert L. Lantz of Queens, WV and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Lantz was a carpenter. Friends will be received Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 12 Noon until 2 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held 2:30 PM Thursday at the Ten Mile Baptist Cemetery with Pastor Dave Cunningham officiating. The family requests in lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
