Robert Nicholson Poling Robert Nicholson Poling, age 76, of Adrian, WV died Friday, August 5, 2016 at his home. He was born June 13, 1940 in Grantsville, WV, a son of the late Jacob and Verla Stidd Poling. On December 22, 1971 he married Ethel “Billie” Davis who preceded him in death on August 12, 2010. Surviving are four daughters, Joyce Blair and husband Michael of Maricopa, AZ, Casey Buttari and husband John of Pinehill, NJ, Shawn Mills of Beckley, WV, and Carol Wilson of West Virginia; four sons, Robert Poling, James Poling, Eugene Poling and Bill Poling; three grandsons, James Chewning and Zachary Frohnapfel both of Maricopa and Cody Mills and wife Cheyenne of Beckley; four granddaughters, Holly Prentice of NC, Amber Stickler and Katherine Frohnapfel both of Maricopa and Katherine Phillips of John Bend, WV; two great granddaughters, Lillian McBride of John Bend and Kinley Brooke Prentice of NC and one great grandson, Connor Sickler of Maricopa, One brother Willian Poling Of Buckhannon, WV, and two sisters, Sharon Arnett of North Carolina and Louwana Perry of Buckhannon WV.
