Obituary of Betty M. Rowan

Home at last Betty M. Rowan, age 86, of Buckhannon, WV died Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at her home. She was born December 10, 1931 in Sandusky, OH, a daughter of the late Orphie Young Cutts. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her step father, Robert D. Cutts. She is survived by three sons, Dewayne Rowan and wife Pauline and David Rowan, Jr. all of Buckhannon and Paul Rowan and wife Brenda Jean of Tallmansville, WV; one sister in law, Carol Smith of Buckhannon and three nieces, Patty Smith of Elkins, WV, Donna Thomason and Delores Smith both of French Creek, WV. Mrs. Rowan was a cook. Friends will be received at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from 11 AM until 12 Noon the funeral hour with the Rev. Junior Harris and the Rev. Dave Bickle officiating. Burial will follow in the Buckhannon Memorial Park in Buckhannon. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
