Samantha Louise Bennett Samantha Louise Bennett, lifelong resident of Upshur County, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2016 with family at her side. She was born June 29, 1923 and is survived by loving son James Michael Bennett (Rebecca ), grandsons Jason Bennett (Christina) and Chad Bennett (Carley), great grand-daughter Jameson Bennett, especially close nephew Jason Bennett (Brittany), sister Barbara Sue Coker, sister Wanda Elnora Baughman and special niece Brenda, sister Edna Elaine White and grand-niece Erin, brother Charles Clinton Bennett (Mary), brother Harold Junior Bennett (Sue) and many loved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by parents Archie Baxter Bennett and Edna Dell Bennett, sisters Maxine and Emogene Bennett, brothers Isaac, Steve, Durbin, and Woodford Bennett . Louise was a generous kind soul , beloved by many, and we will miss her more than words can say. Friends will be received at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home Saturday, September 3, 2016 from 10-11 AM the funeral hour, with the Rev. Randy Sims officiating.
