Obituary of Rosemary Moreland

Rosemary Moreland, age 77, of Buckhannon, WV died Monday, September 5, 2016 at her home. She was born September 9, 1938 in Upshur Co., WV, a daughter of the late Alva and Cora Phipps Sandy. On September 22, 1956 she married Bennett Moreland who preceded her in death on September 21, 1998. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Benny Moreland; one daughter, Debbie Harper; two sisters, Louise Hoover and Katherine Russell and three brothers, Robert, Roy and Harold Sandy. Surviving are one son, Duane Moreland and wife Tina of Buckhannon; two grandsons, Dusty Harper and wife Heidi and Michael Moreland all of Buckhannon; one granddaughter, Jody Kuhn and husband Buddy of MD; three great grandsons, Levi Harper and Gavin Moreland both of Buckhannon and Remy Kuhn of MD; three great granddaughters, Hanna Harper and Grace and Gabriella Moreland all of Buckhannon; one sister, Doris Moore and husband John of OH and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Moreland was an avid NASCAR and Country music fan and was a care giver at the Senior Center in Buckhannon. Friends will be received Wednesday, September 7, 2016 from 5 to 8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 10 AM Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev.
