Obituary of Mary Alice Corder

Mary Alice Corder Mary Alice Corder, age 77, of Elkins, WV died Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at her home. She was born December 11, 1938 in Barbour County, WV, a daughter of the late Piatt Bryan and Gladys Virginia Goldsborough Corder. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Piatt Bryan Jr., Edward J. and Paul D. Corder and one sister, Alma Marie McCaulty. She is survived by one brother, Joseph Alfred Corder and wife Mary Ellen of Buckhannon, WV; one sister, Lucy Elizabeth of Orlando, FL and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 11 AM to 12 Noon at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 12 Noon at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Heavner officiating. Burial will follow in the Reger Chapel Church Cemetery in Buckhannon. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Reger Chapel Church Cemetery C/O Alan Shreve 2639 Brushy Fork Rd. Buckhannon, WV 26201.
