Georgia Edith Dean Kelly Georgia Edith Dean Kelly, 83, of Lansdale, PA and formerly of Buckhannon, WV went home to be with the Lord Sunday, September 25, 2016. She was the beloved wife of Rev. Mr. Walter Edward Kelly, her husband of 66 years. Born December 9, 1932 in Buckhannon, she was a daughter of the late George Arnett and Zelda Dale (Wolfe) Dean. Edith will be remembered for her unfailing dedication to her family. She enjoyed serving people, especially children, and was a talented seamstress. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Patricia A. Mathues and her husband, Harold, of Lansdale, and Walter E. Kelly, Jr. and his wife, Lisa, of Cleveland, TN; five grandchildren, Sabrina, Christina, Scott, Daniel, and Alex; two great-grandchildren, Noah and Colton; two brothers, Edward Dean of Buckhannon, and Larry Dean of Coinjock, NC; and her sister, Joanne Scruggs of Chesapeake, VA. She was preceded in death by two siblings, Elaine Tenney and Gale Dean. Friends will be received Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 9-10 AM at the Poling–St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 10 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Donald Butcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Rupert Cemetery in Buckhannon. Local arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home in Lansdale, PA. For those desiring, contributions may be made in Edith’s memory to a children’s charity of one’s choice. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
