Johnny E. Myers, age 57, of Tallmansville, WV died Monday, September 26, 2016 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. He was born November 21, 1958 in Charleston, WV, a son of the late Clifford and Evanglean Lanham Myers. On April 18, 1981 he married Barbara Ruth Westfall who survives. Also surviving are one son, Chris Canter and wife Jelena of Roseville, CA; one daughter, Michelle Canter of Buckhannon, WV; one grandson, Max Canter of Roseville and granddaughters, Elizabeth and Victoria Canter both of Roseville. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Marlene Kasten. Mr. Myers was a truck driver for Winjean Trucking and a Methodist by faith. Friends will be received Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 2-4 PM at the Big Bend United Methodist Church with funeral service at 4 PM with the Rev. Wease L. Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Big Bend Cemetery at Sago, WV. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
