Obituary of Paula Mae Burr Tenney

Paula Mae Burr Tenney, age 52, of Buckhannon, WV died Sunday, October 2, 2016 at her home. She was born April 4, 1964 in Buckhannon, a daughter of the Paul Dwight and Violet Elizabeth White Staley. She is survived by her ex-husband, Edward Tenney of Buckhannon; two sons, David Tenney and Ashley Detamore and Jeffrey Tenney and wife Erin all of Buckhannon; one daughter, Shawna Johnson and husband Gene of Buckhannon; one grandson, Bentley Tenney of Buckhannon; one granddaughter, Riley Tenney of Buckhannon; two sisters, Faye Keith and husband, Fred “Shakey” of French Creek, WV and Shirley Burr of Sago, WV and family, Matthew “Skip” Reid, Jonathan Currence and Jamie Bennett all of Buckhannon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Dianna Staton, Mary Aegan and Rose Rivers. Paula was a homemaker. Friends will be received at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home on Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 11 AM until 12 Noon the funeral hour with the Rev. Wease L. Day officiating.
