Nancy Lee Phillips, age 72, of French Creek, WV, died Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Caring Manor in Buckhannon, WV the Hodgesville Community. She was born July 24, 1944 in Upshur County, WV, a daughter of the late Sterling and Kathleen Tenney Guthrie. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Roscoe Phillips. She is survived by two sons, Robert Roscoe Phillips, Jr. of French Creek and Philip Lee Phillips of Buckhannon, WV; four granddaughters, Kailey, Heather, Rachel and Nancy Brook Phillips all of French Creek; one brother, Boe Guthrie of French Creek and one sister, Juanita Ryan of VA. Mrs. Phillips was a homemaker. Friends will be received at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home on Saturday, November 5, 2016 from 12 Noon until 2 PM the funeral hour with the Rev. Donald Butcher officiating. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
