Obituary of David S. Reed

untitled1 David S. Reed David S. Reed, age 61, of New Carrollton, MD died Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Washington Adventist Hospital in Takoma Park, MD. He was born April 20, 1948 in Hyattsville, MD, a son of Virginia L. Tucker Reed of New Carrollton and the late Stanley Reed. In addition to his mother he is survived by one sister, Patricia Robinson of Falling Waters, WV. Mr. Reed was retired from the US Navy as RMC, served in communications during the Vietnam War. He also retired from the Federal Govt. as a postal worker. Friends will be received Saturday, April 10, 2010 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held 2 PM Sunday at Reed Cemetery at Tallmansville, WV with the Rev. Robert Poling officiating.
