Obituary of Jimmy Roger Clark

Jimmy Roger Clark, Sr., age 68, of French Creek, WV died Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. He was born March 7, 1948 in Staunton, VA, a son of the late Homer and Bessie Furr Clark. On January 27, 1969 he married Barbara Ann Pearson who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Roy Clark, Mark Clark and wife Erica all of French Creek and Jimmy Roger Clark, II and special friend Pam Powers Moore of Hodgesville, WV; two granddaughters, Bridget Clark of Martinsburg, WV and Hannah Clark of French Creek; six grandsons, Mark Clark, Jr of Hagerstown, MD, and Paul “BJ” Clark, Hunter Clark, Travis Clark, Henry Clark, and Levi “Lelee” Clark all of French Creek; three sisters, Dixie Lou Nicholson of Martinsburg, Barbara Filmore and Thelma Fewell both of Coeur D’Alene, ID; one brother, Billy Steve Clark of Coeur D’Alene; two great grandchildren and a few nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Clark was preceded in death by one brother Roy Clark. Jimmy was a farmer. Friends will be received at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 2PM – 4PM the funeral hour with Rev. Wease L. Day officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
