Obituary of Larry G Vaught

Larry G. Vaught, age 75, of Buckhannon departed this life on December 4, 2016 at Ruby Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was born April 19, 1941 in Alloy WV, the son of the late Conard H. and Edna Mamoran Vaught. On September 2, 1966, he married Linda Jane Waugh Vaught, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Samuel Alan Vaught and Joseph Edward Vaught and wife Michelle of Buckhannon; one daughter, Janna Vaught Adams and husband Marc of Buckhannon. Six grandsons, Jaric Rich, Dalton, Zachary and Spencer Vaught, and Cade and Jamison Gambrazzio, all of Buckhannon; one step-grandson, Marc Tyler Adams of Buckhannon; one sister, Jan L. Adams and husband William of Plantation, FL; one brother-in-law, Jerry Waugh and wife Linda; and several loved nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister Judy May and husband Corbet of Harrisonburg, VA. Larry was a Christian by faith, a loving husband, father and grandfather and a friend to many. He loved hunting, fishing, camping and working with horses. He worked at Moore Business Forms for 30 years and at the Natural Wildlife Center in French Creek for eight years. Friends will be received Tuesday, December 6, 2016 from 5 to 8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 2 PM Wednesday at the funeral home with Curtis Bauske, Carlton Schooley and Kevin Naillieux officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon.
