Myron McCall Queen
Myron McCall Queen, age 91, of Buckhannon, WV died on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Louis A. Johnson V.A. Medical Center in Clarksburg, WV. He was born March 9, 1925 in Adrian, WV, a son of the late Granville Clete and Tyrissia Curry Queen. On December 8, 1945 he married Ruth Ann Cook who survives. Also surviving are four sons, Gary Queen and wife Laura of Buckhannon, Rodney Queen of Beckley, WV, Wesley Queen and wife Cindy of NC and Myron Wayne Queen and wife Pamela of Buckhannon; two daughters, Cherie Queen of West Milford, WV and Teresa Slaubaugh and husband Butch of Montrose, WV; tweleve grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, Carolyn June Myers. Mr. Queen owned Queen’s Cabinet Shop and was a furniture maker. He served in the US Navy during WWII.
