Renna Glee Poling
Renna Glee Poling, age 71, of Buckhannon, WV died Monday, December 26, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. She was born August 19, 1945 in Upshur County, WV, a daughter of the late Alvin Teal and Oleava Rohr Queen. On September 5, 1965 she married Archie Ralph Poling who died on October 1, 2016. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a brother, Ted Queen; also infant brother, Kyle Queen and a sister, Mary Jane Hunt. She is survived by her three sons, Archie Ralph Poling, Jr., and Jodie Puzio, Jake Poling and Sarah Rice and Joey Poling all of Buckhannon; one daughter, Judith Payne and husband David of Buckhannon; three grandsons, Nathan, Dillon and Keigan Poling all of Buckhannon; two granddaughters, Breanna Sines and husband Josh and Kierra Poling all of Buckhannon; one great granddaughter, Ella Sines of Buckhannon; four brothers, Alvin Teal Queen, Jr. and wife Jean, Tom Queen and wife Myrna and Bob Queen all of VA and Benjamin Queen of WV; one sister, Nancy Berard and husband Alan of VA and several nieces and nephews. Renna was a member of the First Baptist Church of Buckhannon and also a member of the Order the Eastern Star. Renna worked in the food service industry for Alladin Foods, Upshur County Schools and retired from the FBI Center in Clarksburg, WV. She always had a smile and a happy word when she met you. She never met a stranger. She never forgot a face and loved family history. Renna loved her family and enjoyed making and keeping a home. Holidays were her time to shine; making sure everyone had their favorite sweet treats. Children had a special place in her heart and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life. Friends will be received at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home on Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 9-11 AM the funeral hour with the Rev. Holt Poling officiating. Burial will follow in the Upshur County Memorial Park in Tennerton, WV. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
