Obituary of Thomas Ray Shipley

Thomas Ray Shipley, age 42, of Buckhannon, WV died Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He was born December 16, 1974 in Buckhannon, a son of the late Thomas Ray Davis and Cathy Lynn Shipley. He is survived by three sons, Trevor Pennington of Virginia, Dylon Ray Shipley of Buckhannon, and Xavier Thomas Shipley of Buckhannon; two daughters Christina Christianson of Virginia Beach, VA and Constance Lynn Shipley of Buckhannon; one grandson, Theodor Christanson; two brothers, Jeff Davis of Utah and Bill Davis of Lost Creek, WV; three sisters, Jodi Bennett of Clarksburg, WV, Melanie Delk of North Carolina, and Donna Howard of Virginia and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends will be received at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home on Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 11AM – 1PM the funeral hour with the Rev. J. Edward McDaniels officiating. Per his request, Mr. Shipley will be cremated. A private burial will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
