Dana Joyce Kochenour, age 74, of Greenwood, SC died Sunday, January 29, 2017 at North Fulton Regional Hospital in Roswell, GA. She was born November 18, 1942 in Buckhannon, WV, a daughter of the late Dana and Nellie Slaughter Lewis. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Charles Kochenour. She is survived by one daughter, Deanna Kay Schuelke and husband William of Marietta, GA; one grandson, William Samuel Schuelke of Marietta; one brother, "Herk" Lewis of Mebane, North Carolina; one nephew, Jerry Wayne Lewis and wife Kristi of North Carolina; one niece, Charla Maness and husband Doug of North Carolina and two great nephews, Maddox and Austin Lewis both of North Carolina. Dana was a homemaker. Friends will be received Friday, February 10, 2017 from 5 PM until 8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Ed Lowther officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner cemetery.
