Obituary of Calvert Denzil Cutright

Calvert Denzil Cutright, age 80, of Buckhannon, WV died Sunday, February 12, 2017 at his home. He was born December 10, 1936 in Hemlock, WV, a son of the late Vance David and Leatha Mae Crites Cutright. On October 2, 1958 he married Gwendolene Faye Farrar Cutright who survives. Also surviving are two nephews, Loren Farrar and wife Susan of French Creek, WV and Hollis Dwayne Farrar and wife Cathy of Huttonsville, WV; four nieces, Sonya Faye Bennett and husband David of Buckhannon, Kelly Arbogast of Mill Creek, WV, Kendra Arbaugh and husband David of Daily, WV and Julie Zumstein and husband David of Fall Brook, CA; five great nieces, Tia Bennett and fiancé David Maxwell of Buckhannon, Brittany and Megan Farrar both of FL; Taylor Zumstein of Fall Brook and Olivia Arbogast; three great nephews, Brendan Bennett of Buckhannon and Blaine and Trevor Arbaugh; four brothers-in-law, Hollis Farrar of Mill Creek, Wesley Farrar of Czar, WV, Elra Farrar and wife Sharon and Loren “Bud” Farrar all of Buckhannon and two sisters-in-law, Katrina Farrar of San Diego, CA and Dottie Dukelow of Buckhannon. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Leroy Clinton Cutright. Mr. Cutright was an area supervisor for Kopper and a lumber inspector for Woody’s. He was a member of the Mt. Olive United Methodist Church at Hemlock. Friends will be received Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 10-11 AM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Holly J. Hoover officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Church Cemetery in Czar, WV.
