Obituary of Melody Ann Burch

Melody Ann Burch, age 60, of Buckhannon, WV died Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at WV Caring Hospice Center in Morgantown, WV. She was born October 15, 1956 in Clarksburg, WV, a daughter of Harry Stout of Whitehall, WV and the late Wilma Jenkins Stout. On July 27, 1997 she married Robert Burch who survives. In addition to her father and husband, she is survived by one son, Eric Carson and wife Jeanne of Weston, WV; one granddaughter, Sierra Lowther of Weston; one grandson, Tyler Carson of Weston; four brothers, Nathan Carson and wife Lyn of New Philadelphia, OH, Timothy Carson of Scranton, PA, Allen Stout and wife Donna of St. George, WV and Kendall Stout and wife Suzie of Falling Waters, WV; sister in law, Ruby Elizabeth Carson of Hundred, WV; beloved dog, Corky and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother she is preceded in death by one brother, Gail Carson. Mrs. Burch was a homemaker and attended the Way of Holiness Church. She graduated in 1974 from Washington Irving High School in Clarksburg and was a member of the Marching Band. She served with the United Way of Upshur and was president for one year, was a member of the Christmas Store and the Teter CEO’S. Friends will be received Monday, March 27, 2017 from 5-8 PM at The Way of Holiness Church. A funeral service will be held 10 AM Tuesday at the church with Pastor Jerry Murrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Buckhannon Memorial Park in Buckhannon. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
